Grading Policy
Failed Assignments or Tests
1. Students must utilize the opportunity to redo an assignment or retake a test within 5 school days of receiving the failing grade.
2. Students must have all assignments related to the test turned inand /or students must attend the required tutoring.
3. Students can redo an assignment or retake a test for which the student received a failing grade in order to receive a maximum grade of 70 points.
4. Students will only be allowed to redo an assignment or retake the test one time.
5. Students will not be allowedto retake or make corrections on the District checkpoints or benchmark.
Late Work
Per the VISD grading policy 10 points are to be taken off per day that the assignment is late, and assignments that are more than 4 days late do not have to be accepted.
